the Dryad piece is now in Kiln 19. The glass is furnace cullet, from when the CGW furnace was emptied before Christmas. Tom brought out the usable glass into patties for me, nice thick chunks of annealed glass. the schedule was a bit of a mash up. I suddenly realised that the Dryad piece is quite thick, so quite a few extra hours were added.

Hello Purr
In my quest to create a kiln / firing schedule app, I have started to learn some skills, well very basic ones. Using the MIT app inventor I completed their first tutorial "Hello purr" which totally peeved our feline visitor. The very simple task is to make a picture of a cat meow when you tap your phone...which made said 'kitteh' look around for her rival for affection and food (probably not in that order)

In the kiln

Notes: Think, yes think again about where you put those feeders, make sure the pots can be placed over them and fit together. I did have 4 small pots but it didn't work. I did make it more difficult by having the indent made by the coffee cup.
Glass: Spectrum '96 nuggets 4.5kg
